Meeting on Wednesdays from 7.00pm. Read below for covid-19 precautions:
This is our current format based on July government guidelines (when they change we will review if we want to change anything). We will be hashing in pods of up to 6 setting off at different times. Please could everybody book in using the self-serve website:

  • You can easily change or remove your start time yourself, if necessary. This booking system allows us to have an even spread of hashers and makes sure no-one is left by themselves (the 3 main start times are 7:00, 7:15 and 7:30 and there is an overflow 5 minutes later, the exact arrangement of the main time and overflow can be tweaked on the night). This booking system also means the hare can pass on any messages if they will not be there at one or more of the start times. We recommend walkers start by 7:15.
  • Trails will be 1 blob and on, but checks will remain unmarked until the last pod (who will mark them). There may not be any short cuts for walkers (but the hare might be able to advise if appropriate again the booking system will help let the hare know who might need to be told a short cut).
  • We will not always hash from a pub, it is at the hares discretion. If hashing from a pub we will possibly stay for a drink after, especially if they have a garden and it is a nice evening. If we are not hashing from a pub there may be a suggested place to socialise after (bringing your own drink/chair).
  • We will not be having group food after the hash at the moment, but you are welcome to order your own (but remember some kitchens may close earlier than normal).
  • We are not collecting subs on the evening, but are still keeping records and are still working out how to collect subs and will let you hash cash will advise you when, how and how much to pay when appropriate.
  • New people are welcome but we suggest you email bogs@bristolhash.org.uk beforehand or at least leave contacts details with someone on the night.

Hares! Please report any poorly-maintained footpaths to Travelog at The Open Spaces Society.

Hash-style runs are usually, but not exclusively, held on public land, footpaths, or roads. No guarantee can be made that this is always the case if, for instance: public footpaths are not clearly marked either in situ or on maps; the ownership of the land is uncertain; any other reason. Each runner is free to decide whether or not to follow the marked course. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure his or her own safety and the safety of others, including non-participants, livestock and wildlife. Dogs are the responsibility of their owners/keepers. Children under sixteen years must be accompanied by, and are the responsibility of, their parents or carers. Each "hash" covers a different location and route, and is run without marshals or other officials. "Hash House Harriers" defines a style of social jogging and is not a legal entity.
