Minutes of the 29th Annual General Piss-Up held on 2nd April 2011 at The Stag and Hounds, Old Market, Bristol.
Minutes Secretary: Wolfie.

Lunchbox, putting his recently-aquired employment status to good use, had spent the previous few weeks researching potential AGPU venues, and after long consideration had plumped for The Stag and Hounds, a choice which met with general approval.

Massive, the current Grand Master, opened the formal meeting by welcoming those present. Proceedings were delayed for some minutes due to an unplanned exhibition of beer mat flying. This was followed by visits to the bar (Public Enemy, Waynetta, Spider) and the Gents (Wolfie).

  1. Apologies. Apologies had been received from Trolley Dolly and Scoop.
  1. Minutes of the last meeting. The minutes of the last meeting, held on 27th March 2010, were approved.
  1. Matters Arising. There were none.
  1. Outgoing officers' reports.
    1. Grand Master. Massive said that, apart from having to go hashing most Sundays, he'd had a pretty good year
    2. Hash Cash. Sleepy distributed accounts which are included with, and form part of, these minutes (see below). He expressed general satisfaction with the general situation, despite difficult international conditions. Following a vote the accounts were approved, grudgingly.
    3. Hare Raiser. Spiderman reported that hares had been supplied for every run during the year. He thanked everyone who had set trails during the year.
    4. Stats. Wolfie stated that the average number of hashers per hash had fallen slightly from 24 to 21. He reminded the meeting that extensive reports could be found on the website.
  1. Proposals for Hash and Pub Awards.

    1. Best hash location. Doctor Z proposed The Bodkin House, which was seconded and carried.
    2. Best pub for service, beer, range of light snacks, carpark, toilets and prices. Wet Wipe proposed The Beaufort Inn, Hawkesbury Upton, which was seconded and carried.
    3. Worst hash location. Clem proposed any of the locations he had set runs from, which was seconded and carried.
    4. Worst pub for service, beer, range of light snacks, carpark, toilets and prices. Lunchbox proposed The New Inn, Pwyllmeric, as follows: 40 runners for the Bristol/Cardiff (Revival) joint run. Forty salivating hashers on a hot day. There were only two pints at the bottom of the barrel. "Happy to wait while you change it!" says I. "But they're not delivering my next barrel 'til Wednesday" said the landlady. "What else can I get you lads instead?". Seconded and carried.

    5. Resignation of Officers. In accordance with Hash AGPU rules, the officers present resigned. Down-downs were downed.

    6. Election of Officers. The following officers were elected:

    1. Any Other Business. It was agreed that a charity would be nominated each year and any funds raised donated accordingly. As Soprano had put in such stirling work over the years with her famous charity auctions, she should be the first to choose the charity for the forthcoming year. A method of devising future sponsorship would be discussed in time for the next AGPU.

  2. Date of Next Meeting: Saturday, 31st March 2012.

Appendix: Accounts for the year to 31 December 2010 were submitted as follows:
