NOTES ON RUN 930, 29/05/06, FROM THE STAR, TICKENHAM. HARE: DEEP THROAT.

This was a message written after some chat via the WoEhashers Message Board, in which it was suggested that James should hash more often. The run took place on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, and Bristol HHH had run earlier in the day. - Ed.

I did turn up last Monday (29th) for an evening run with the Greyhounds and was met by a pack of, let me see, one, two...., yes two virgins of the female variety and rather disconsolate looking hare. I did begin to wonder that in my absence the hash had fallen apart, but was assured that this was a blip due to the Bank Holiday and the competing (non-competitive) Bristol Hash of earlier in the day.

Half way round the fields, the pack size was almost doubled by the late arrival of a short cutting Droop and Money Penny. Apparently they would have been at the start if they had remembered to pack their hash kit and didn't have to go back to Wales to collect it.

Anyway, the rain stayed away, there was sunshine and even a beer stop. Back at the pub, where sarnies were provided, we were joined by Mini Ha Ha who had skipped the run and gone straight in for a fag and a pint.

A good run, good choice of beer, looking forward to the next one, etc.

Must do some work

On on,

James.
